Well despite some non starters and Braders crashing out I am starting to bubble up the table, The Schlecks were a good pick, now if they can keep it up ...
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

Well I'm last and don't see how I shall be able to climb in ranks, my riders are performing poorly
except for  A Schleck.
So the last spot will be mine. :-\

I've just lost Klöden too  :'(

Hurrah! Maxim Monfort finally does something of note in this Tour! That should bag a few points, I think.

Nope, either I misheard or the commentator got it wrong, but it was the other Maxim - Iglinsky - who topped the climb first. Bollocks.

At the last count, I realised that I've got 6 of the 22 riders on over 300 points! My bad picks were:
- Wiggo, who selfishly crashed out.
- Renshaw, who's had the bad form to sit up after leading out Cav (here's hoping he gets a second place on the last stage like last year)
- Krusiger - he was meant to be tearing them apart in the mountains. I've only heard the commentary team mention him once and that was about him falling off the back!

I'm just happy that I'm not doing as badly as last year!

I have been saved by Thomas Voeckler and EBH.  Well done to both of them, they were definitely worth their bribes this time  ;)

Crikey. Having been hovering around 8th position throughout the Tour, I was reading down the list to see where I'd finished and was getting increasingly depressed as I got lower and lower without seeing my name... and then I noticed I'd actually finished second. I guess Cav and Cadel's performances on the last two stages are responsible for my late surge.

I think I managed an improvement of thirteen or so places over the second half of the race, though there are some riders who won't be getting a renewal of their fantasy contract with me.

Wow!  My team was always going to climb [groan] the board once we hit the mountains but I didn't expect to climb that high!  When Wiggo crashed out, Garate left on nul points and I was hanging around the bottom of the table, I would have happily traded my stock of EPO for a lesser finish than that.  Cav, Wiggo and Andy Schleck were my main contenders with EBH and Tommy V serving as my surprise weapons.  TV was certainly a surprise but he was one that was deployed to devastating effect, while I've always had this good feeling about EBH.

It is, however, a bit strange to win with neither of my GC hopes climbing the top of the podium.

Kevin de Weert was a good pick for you, Mr B. Luck or judgment?

A bit of both.  "Hmm, I've got 2 credits left to spend.  I know, I'll have him, he's okay and I've not heard of most of the others."

Quite pleased with my team (especially considering my goal was to not come last!):
   Bradley WIGGINS [14]    SKY    126
   Tony MARTIN [10]    THR    500
   Fränk SCHLECK [16]    LEO    1420
   Damiano CUNEGO [12]    LAM    711
   Mark CAVENDISH [20]    THR    1245
   Geraint THOMAS [4]    SKY    380
Edvald BOASSON HAGEN [8]    SKY    924
   Mark RENSHAW [4]    THR    64
   Roman KREUZIGER [12]    AST    26

Only let down by 3 riders* (and only 4 under 500 points).

Well done everyone, and I'll take you all on again next year!

*everyone else was probably happy to see Cav win yesterday, I was more interested in shouting at Renshaw to keep pedalling and get a sensible placing!

...I've not heard of most of the others."

Turns out several in my team I've heard of because they're ill-fated breakaway specialists or some other bloke's lead out man. My excuse is "I'm not very good with names" and I'm sticking with it.
