FUCK YEAH!

I have been waiting years for that. Back in the late 90's, I remember seeing Colin Winkelmann (RIP) attempting the first double and thinking "how long til a triple?"

That was incredible.

Holy f**king s**t!!!

That view down the ramp from the rider helmet cam is the scariest thing I've seen in a long time.

Well that's the more blunt way of putting it but as usual he's dead right.

Right now, there will be someone working on a quadruple, probably at a ski resort somewhere.  How do you practise for this sort of thing?
Hard work sometimes pays off in the end, but laziness ALWAYS pays off NOW.

Padded cell?

He almost over rotated it and caught it on the landing.

He nailed the landing!

Super smooth! That was one of the most impressive bits, that he got the landing spot on.

It's nice but...it's the same issue I have with the snowboarding scene. Bigger/more rotations != better.
Stuff like this is the way to go and give the riders far more options for creating and expressing themselves.

The pool stuff was great to watch - I know what you mean, it's more interesting than just one massive trick. Street stuff is good too, as there's lots of imagination involved.

But, it's gotta take a lot of guts to attempt the triple back flip - a  stack from that height doesn't bear thinking about. And landing it perfectly was amazing! (IMO)

That is, obviously, insane and quite brilliant.

What would actually happen if he landed on his head instead of on his wheels?
I mean, would the lid actually make a significant difference at that velocity & angle?

I doubt it. I did wonder why he even bothered with a lid, but then it probably would have been useful if he'd not landed it cleanly (i.e. fell off on the landing ramp)

Very impressive.  I didn't realise that this type of riding has its own language associated with it.  I found the Youtube comments most amusing, such as 'that dude must have slain so much poon that night...'

The extended video is more interesting. It shows some of the accidents and bails they had after the foam pity and air bag were put away. They put some effort into doing this - really impressed.
