Amending a Strava error
« on: 06 May, 2020, 08:24:17 am »
I'm pretty sure my Strava had a moment this morning. Struggled on my run and was shocked when it had my splits at 4:55 per k where as usually its above 5. Looked further and appears to show I ran a sub 4 minute split for one of these which I'm pretty sure I didn't

The distance looks about right but now all my records and PB are for this run which is flawed. I don't want to lose the run as trying to keep a tally of distance but wondering if can amend the times or similar?

Delete it and manually add a run of the correct distance?

I know I often have to correct ludicrously optimistic climbing values that my Garmin watch sends to Strava. On the desktop there's usually an option to recalculate the distance and the elevation numbers. Adjusting the distance will also check the times from the main gps file IME. Could this help?

The distance seems correct but I'll try on computer at home or delete and add manually as suggested

Thanks
