Having waxed lyrical about my wonderful ride to work yesterday moring, Sod got revenge this morning.
Rear wheel started to misbehave and I discoverd I had been visited by the faerie. I dug a small piece of glass from the tyre and swapped the tube for my spare. I then spent some time with a small hand pump putting about 90psi into the tyre. O removing the pump I discovered that the pin in the valve core had snapped off, immediatly deflating the tyre
Quick rerpair of the punctured tube and reffited this, another arm busting 90psi session on the pump and then I was off again.
Still a glorious ride. I'd rather be 30 minutes fettling faerie activity than stuck in a car in a jam
