About 40 years ago when I was a lad I had to replace the piston rings on an old triumph herald. The local shop had small cans of swarfega or absolutely massive containers somewhat cheaper!
I have not bought any Swarfega since! I have about an inch left and keep it for the absolute emergency now. Generally I find I wear gloves a lot more and keep the bike cleaner.
