Fond memories of meeting Windy but also and in no particular order the Pingus and Jaded.  Happy days.

Not sure who I met first - probably Wowbagger.

Most recent meets were Pingu & Mrs Pingu in Berlin and Roadrunner here in Niederrhein.

Oh, and Wow and Dez sometime in the last 5 years when visiting Saafend with my GerMan.

I have yet to meet Ian (Windy). Mostly I have met others through forum rides or hosting the overnight Oxford to London group at 2 or 3am a few times, all apart from Fuzzy and the two Helens, Auntie Helen and hellymedic, who I had to go out of my way to meet (and should again when the next opportunity arises).

It's a few years since I've been on a forum ride, but hi to everyone I met when I did ;D

The ACME crowd are around at those events of course, which is good.

Still remember my first trip to Lewis and visit to windy’s house.

It was a bit dark inside.

He's alive and well and, AIUI, shacked up somewhere near the coast with someone else from CycleChat   :)

I have ridden with FF quite a few times on the Oxford-London night ride.

I *think* that my first encounter with 3D YACFers was probably the 'Essex is (mostly) flat' WARTY https://yacf.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=31874.0

Well, if we're counting that sort of opposite direction Big Blue Room thing, when a real person became a virtual friend too, CrinklyAuntie. Who I met on the day she was born, I think. If not, it was on the day that she and the late Granny Annie came home from the hospital, which on reflection may or may not have been the day she was born - I was quite small, and only really remember taking her in a carry cot round to meet the neighbours.
