Transfer data from phone to tablet

I have a Samsung phone and a newly acquired Samsung tablet. What's the easiest method (in an ABC123 kind of way) to
transfer the phone data (contacts, email accounts, apps etc) to the tablet?

Assuming both are Android, make sure that the phone is set up with a Google account & to backup to Google, this should in theory back up contacts, apps etc to the cloud however, I've not seen it do email accounts. It requires you to sign in to Google which is email+password rather than server settings.

Most major manufacturers have a migrate app.  It think Smasung has one called Smart Switch.  Download it onto both devices.
