So are we decided on the Cross Keys, Hatty P?  If so who's launching from Witham?  And what time?

Also, thoughts on how we deal WITH THIS?

Discuss tonight - it's our last chance (for a while) for a full MEMWNS parliament!

It may be time to resurrect that select group known as the Eastern Easy Riders

Well yes, or perhaps we divide into groups of 6 with no intermingling between groups at the same outdoor venue.  Each group could have its own kitty and Beer Bitch.  We could even maintain the group structure until further notice: EER (Mersea, Colchester, Coggeshall), Witham Peloton, Westerners (Chelmsford, Ongar, ACHE), Northerners (Felsted, Dunmow) etc...

I can't believe you are discriminating on geographic location when we all know mid-essex is a state of mind!!!

The EER is a proud, independent organisation and will arrange its own venues - ie within easy riding reach of home  ;D

No discrimination here!  Physical demarcation bound together by the Mid-Essex state of mind.  Which is in sharp contrast to...

Are we not stronger together?  ::-)  :-\

I could select who I allow to come to the pub?

Yes, as long as we get to select whether or not we sit with you when we get there.

Deary me, are you OK?  I always had you down as a lover not a fighter, I'd offer you a manly but comforting hug were it not for the strange times we live in  :'(

I don't remember, there have been so many.

Anyhow.... what time tonight??

Erm, I'm not sure who is leaving from Witham.  I know Oaky can't leave until 8pm, not heard from His Huggyness.  In the absence of any other plans my plan was to leave about 7pm (ish) and follow this THIS FUN ROUTE.

I should be okay to come out to play from 7pm at the roundabout. If sitting outside is suboptimal it's not far from home!

So that'll be arrival at around 20:45

^^^ Bless, perhaps ted is back to being a lover again, only time will tell.  Anyhow...

I have just been perusing the nu rulz on BBC News and it seems like the guidelines which are morphing into laws have changed subtly in ways I for one wasn't aware of.  Previously I think if you wanted to meet indoors' like inna pub, the group size maxxed out at 6 but could only be made up of 2 households.  But look what the law says post Monday:

So I think that means we can meet in a pub in groups of 6, we don't have to stay outside anymore.  I guess that also means that we can have multiple groups of 6 providing there is no intermingling between groups.

What do folks think?

So the new rulz from Monday are not in fact a strengthening of restrictions for meeting indoors but a complete fudge and reversal of the current restriction on number of households allowed to meet ???
