You are usually OK to ride it to the actual MOT station if you have an appointment there.
Feline speaks right.
My recent experience of M/C MOTs is there's no longer such a thing as 'turn up and test' - it requires an appointment.

Ah but by the time I can get it in for an MOT it won't be taxed either (thanks for the reminder, off to SORN it now).

I could probably get away with it but Dad has his van and ramp and works shifts so will be free on a weekday to get it dropped off to the testing place. So thin it's probably easier to do it that way.

I just annoyed with myself as thought it was July the MOT was due not June, though I now recall wondering if taxing online would work last year as had only MOTd it a few hours previously and wasn't sure if the system would have updated.

So I really should have remembered both tax and MOT were due at the same time  ::-)

Eurostar!  I used to look forward to my cooked breakfast. Now what do I get? Yogurt, croissant and a roll. Bah!

And my ticket no longer goes to 'any Belgian station'

On the plus side, at least you know where you'll be going now.
It is simpler than it looks.

As a UKC graduate, seagulls always make some little part of my brain think it's under exam conditions and have a little panic.

Presumably previously it was manned by automatons or cyborgs, but now, due to cut backs it is cheaper to man it with YTS-ers?

I have a client who is insisting I use Brush Script MT on a website. That is probably only trumped by Comic Sans.

I am trying to educate him but he's having none of it  ::-)

Bookshop!  I ordered that book on June 23rd.  It arrived today.  You are in New Addington, not rural fucking Neptune.

Friend X, if, as I suspect, you require bedspace at Larrington Towers on Saturday do you not think it would be a good idea to tell me?  That way I might assemble the arsedness to remove the mountains of crap obscuring the kitchen table and two-thirds of the drawing room floor.

Chain Reaction - the speed of your service is indeed commendable, but was there really any need to put an Alfine fitting kit into a gert big cardboard box when a jiffy bag would have done the job just as well with the loss of far fewer trees?

Also (and totally unrelated to CRC):

Where the bloody hell are the brevet cards I ordered nearly a month ago? The natives are getting restless.

Body.  Sort yourself out.  I have just been awarded two weeks off work with this stupid hurty foot, and been ordered to rest.  No gym.  No heavy domestic work.  And absolutely no cycling.

Oh for heaven's sake.  I pop off for a wee, and come back to find I've missed out on an IM conversation with my daughter.  I've not heard from her in weeks!

Oh, well, at least I know she's alive  ::-)

Nope.  No cycling.  No gardening.  No decorating.

I'm going to be bored, aren't I?

This weekend's cycle camping with Crusty is now cancelled.  What do people do, who don't walk or cycle?   ???

He's thinking of doing MSeries's ride on Sunday.  I could drive down and meet them all for coffee.

I've just posted the provisional route, so pick your spot - the most obvious stopping points are Easingwold and Boroughbridge.

Read and post on internet fora? ;)

In all seriousness, how about a reading book or two?  If the weather permits, perhaps in a park or somewhere else pleasant rather than sitting at home.
