Okell's Eastern Spice
« on: 08 August, 2008, 11:08:26 am »
I had a half of this at the beer festival in Earls Court yesterday.

It was so nice that I had to go and have another half.

Real ale infused with ginger, coriander and chilli.  If you've ever had Montezuma's dark chocolate & chilli, the chilli taste is similar to that.  The ginger and coriander is fainter, but noticeable, and it's a decent, light but slightly hoppy beer.

I think I have a new favourite beer.  My next quest is finding it outside beer festival tents!

This sounded so nice I popped into "The Fly In The Loaf" on the way home.  Sadly it wasn't on so I had a pint of Castle Rock "Pale Harvest" instead.
