Author Topic: He'll be addicted now - first ever TT, and gets name in the papers  (Read 1517 times)

"In the under-18s class, 16-year-old Arthur Marshall took home the prize with a time of 13-09, just edging out Rab Cullen-Dent - who was riding his first-ever time trial - by four seconds."

Now if only Rab hadn't had a ciggie just before the TT, he might have had 1st place. Still, his first ever TT, and he was only beaten by a Clifton Cycles club member.

Not bad for a boy who was nearly dead of chest infections 10 years ago. The surgeon reckoned he'd never play sport, the scarring on his lungs was too bad.
