Mind you, I've gone from that last year, to so much time not mountain biking that I completely rediscovered the fear and started bottling everything last weekend on a technical trail up north. I ditched halfway and let my brother and his mate carry on.

Mountain biking is about finding the most difficult way of getting from A to B, for no purpose other than going from A to B, and using it.

Sanity does not come into it.
