Life, love and liberty
« on: 07 June, 2017, 01:30:34 pm »
On Friday afternoon, around 2.30pm, irrespective of the result of the general election, I'm going to London with a few pals to celebrate the above. We will be visiting Borough Market, amongst other places, just to give a great big Two Fingers to the murderous bastards.

If any YACFers happen to be in the area at the time and feel like a bit of socialising, it would be lovely to see you and share ethyl alcohol (or whatever your favourite tipple contains).

Here's to us!

I will be in and around Victoria on Friday, so unlikely to get over that way, but great idea.

Sadly a bit far out of town to drop in but chapeau to your excellent endeavour and enjoy a beer for me.

My brother's step son left a pub in Borough Market 8 minutes before the doorman was stabbed the other night.  My client's office where I work one day a week is in nearby Tooley St.  They had an employee mowed down and seriously injured in the Westminster attack.  It's a small world.  Nonetheless, this isn't the 1970's/80's when Europe was being bombed left right and centre by the IRA, INLA, Red Brigade, Baader Meinhoff, ETA etc.  We live in reasonably safe times.
