DIY help... Late night food in Sudbury?!

Plotting a late night ride to the coast and wondering about food at the 2am-3am mark in Sudbury. I know there used to be a MacDonalds and there used to be a 24 hour Tesco and that there used to be a crappy service station just down from Mac Donalds - has anyone been through late at night recently? Or should I pack a picnic?!

I suspect you audacious ACME types will know...

Maccy D's was closed when I recently drove through late one night, I don't think Tesco's is 24 hours anymore and on the Green and Yellow Fields the garage was shut.

Picnic I think.....

IIRC The Scottish Restaurant there opens at 0500.

I think Beacon Hill services is 24 hours and will allow you to avoid Ipswich. Otherwise there used to be a 24 hour garage in Combs. But take a picnic in case. As far as I remember there is nothing 24 hour east of the A14/A140.

If you're riding through there on the night of Saturday July 8th, the fire station are putting food on for the Dunwich Dynamo during the night
