I use a bio powder for most stuff (about 9 out of 10 washes) and Ecover Delicate or similar liquid for wool. Always on 30 except for the odd 90 wash - although I have strong suspicions that the temp is nowhere near what is claimed at higher settings.
I made the switch to powder after using Ecover / similar non-bio liquid for ages and then realising that it just wasn’t cleaning the machine.
