Sugru - Waterproofness
« on: 18 September, 2017, 01:27:40 pm »
I have a small piece of equipment that is water resistant. However I need it to be waterproof enough to be submerged for weeks or months. I had thought about using Sugru. Does anyone have any experience that might be relevant? I thought it would be easier to remove at the end of the time than straight epoxy for example.

Why not use silicon sealant and remove with silicon eater?

Your submarine will fail if leaks are plugged with Sugru.

I'm avoiding submarines, so someone else can test this theory.
