New Event!! - Witham and Blues 200, 110 & 60kms

Hi everyone,

I know over the Christmas period many of my fellow Audaxers will do some advance planning for 2018.  Therefore, may I please introduce you to 3 of Audax Club Lincolnshire's new events for 2018 - the Witham and Blues (The longer routes follows the river Witham).  We have 3 distances, 205kms, 110kms and 60kms.   They will start at 0800, 0900 and 1000 respectively from Waddington Village Hall, just to the south of Lincoln on Saturday 29th September 18.  The hall is large and has plenty of on-site parking.  The two longer events head down into beautiful Rutland (passing the birth place of Sir Issac Newton), whilst the 60km is very flat, ideal for those new to Audax and visits beautiful Woodhall Spa (Home of the Dambusters and the 617 Sqn memorial).  Very quiet roads, beautiful countryside, castles, abbeys and inclusive catering before and after all events.  What's not to like?!!  Here's a link to the on-line entry pages:

The 200km ride is on my to do list. I'm quite close to the start and like the idea of heading south to Rutland for a change

What a great name!  Had me in stitches remembering Del Boy and Cwying. I was going to run  2018 Venetian Nights on that Saturday but I've changed it to Sat 22nd. Entry sent,
If it hisses down on the 22nd and sun-shines on the 29th I'll be Cwying....  ....
