Any self-respecting antipopery question would surely mention Brentford?

I thought we had a thread for this, but it appears not to be!

Similar to "Guess the Place" or "Pop Quiz", the poster that gets the question right sets the next one.

I'll kick it off with:

What connects Perpignan with Paris and St Andrews, via Avignon but most definitely not Rome?

Antipopes?

Generically correct, but I was looking more specific than that, maybe I should have said who, rather than what.

Are google or similar search engines allowed?

If not Avignon and Paris both had antipopes. I assume Perpignan did too. No idea about St Andrews.

You may fall lucky with a Google search, but I wouldn't bet on it! One person links all 4 and you can throw in a link to  Valencia and the moon (!)

George Orwell?  Lived in Paris, went through Perpignan to Spain during Civil War, charges laid against in Valencia, and there's a St. Andrew's church in Orwell, Cambridgeshire.  He probably mentions Avignon at some point in histravels, I haven't looked yet. Wrote 'Moon under Water'.

2: The Tomato was Starsky's car.  Hutch drove a terrible four-door sedan-cum-rubbish-tip which, mercifully, was rarely seen on the anbaric distascope.

Right bloody dog's breakfast that was! Interior and dash from MY74 on, as were the indicators. My guess is it was a 2000E fitted with GXL grille & headlights and given a 72/3 reg plate. IIRC the colour was wrong, too.
VELOMANCER

Well that's the more blunt way of putting it but as usual he's dead right.

James Dean doesn't really fit with the rest of the names does he?

A Few clues
