we had lunch in the pub (pheasant & black pudding cassoulet - absolutely lovely) so it'll be a very light supper, probly something like scrambled eggs on toast.

Pork and beef meatballs with a onion and ale sauce, carrots, peas, cauliflowers, and mashed potatoes.

I love mash.

We had sort of mushroom stroganoff. Never made that before. It was ok but nowhere near as yummy as mushroom lasagne. :P
Do not clench. It only makes it worse.

GlasgowDave made Japanese food - six different dishes made in my tiny kitchen, less than 2 sq m of work surface space...and he did it all without swearing (mostly)!

Well, you probably can't move after eating all that lot. ;D

I'm more technologically advanced than you, I'm putting off filling the dish washer!

Thank You!  I'm a YACF and cycling newbie...currently at the stage of cycling slowly and feeling self-conscious in lycra.  Studiously avoiding both hills and the washing up  :)

Have been avoiding hills for a very long time
& avoiding dish washing for even longer.
What the world needs now is a machine that will empty the dishwasher & put the contents in their respective cupboards.Marj says there is just such a machine:it's called an Alan.I thought that was a cyclo-cross bike

Tonight we will be having meatballs in a tomato and roasted pepper sauce with tagliatelle.

Tomorrows supper is in the oven and is a beef curry which is slow cooking.

I'm glad I am not the only one who suffers from hairy cheese.

I had to shave a lump of Gruyere this evening. Once the blue fur had been removed, I grated it over a pan of crusty potato and speck.
