eXped Downmat or Synmat 7LW

In the market for one of the above.
Coming off a Thermarest NeoAir, as someone suggested, it's like sleeping on an empty crisp packet.
It's too narrow. It's too noisy. Nor sure about the R value but fancy treating myself to one of the above.
What are the differences? Nothing major I assume? Slight weight difference, no worries. Down has a slightly higher R valve. Interesting. All depends on your sleeping bag though I'd imagine.
Just want a bit more warmth and comfort......don't we all.
170cm. Sub 12 stone but not by much 😃

I've got both down and syn mats. The syn mat is less squeaky than the down but there isn't much noticeable difference otherwise. The 9 is warmer than the 7s but even I am mostly fine on a 7, even in winter. I find them excellent and in the event of problems, their customer service is also brilliant.
