I've often been told to pipe down but it has never hurt that much. GWS, at least the legals are over quickly

As of a couple of days ago, I am back on my mtb, commuting to work again. It's early days yet, as traffic is making me hesitant and anxious, but I felt it was time. We're only talking about a few hundred yards, but it is a positive step/pedal.

This post has come directly after reading about the death of 'Pancho', who should still be among us.

I rode out yesterday morning – the first dedicated ride since my crash in August – and only took a couple of hours, which was enough. It would have added poignancy to the ride had I known about the tragic circumstances of 'Pancho'. It's saddened me quite deeply, to know that none of us will ever be able to converse with him again.
