Had a nice week staying 3 miles north of Benidorm at Albir, and some long bike rides, alternating with walks, train rides, with my wife. Photos here (including those on walks...)

Inland roads mainly quiet without too much traffic.Nice scenery on the cols. Main coast road N332 busy - but has a hard-shoulder for cyclists (and walkers ) to use, so useable with care.

Holiday was arranged by Sports Tours International, called Early Bird Training camp.In Feb its cheaper as no organised rides.They give a basic route sheet, but you need Michelin Costa Blanca 123 1;130,000 ideally as well. They arranged airport transfers from Alicante and half-board buffet meals. Good value, would not have saved any by booking direct. We had an appartment with lounge, kitchen and fridge, and there was a supermarket for buying cheap drinks and snacks over the road. Large groups of cyclists (especially one from Sweden) at our hotel, also other sports-minded club people eg footballers. There was an indoor pool and gym.
