Now look, I'm not committing to owt, right?  But here's Lancaster Canal Bridge #107, the Lune Aqueduct.  First a view of the outside:

And as a bonus, while it's dewatered, the inside:

Almost picturesque, no?

Puente Vizcaya over the Rio Nervión, Portugalete, Bilbao. The first transporter bridge, going strong since 1893 - though the middle bit was blown up in the Civil War. Repaired and reopened later.

By coincidence, four days later I spied its counterpart in Newport, Gwent from my train window. Possibly the worst photo on this thread.

They laughed when I said I was going to be a stand-up comedian. They're not laughing now.

A few more bridgy goodnesses from my travels.

Puente de la Universidad, Badajoz over the Rio Guadiana. It's concrete but the early morning light made it glow today:

Two for the price of one. The Roberts on the railings of the new Puente Ajuda border crossing between Spain and Portugal. The old bridge in the background was blown up by a retreating army in 1709, two hundred years after it was built. It only took until 2000 for its replacement. And they say the pace of life is slow round here...

Old metal lifting bridge in Alcácer do Sal, Portugal, over the Rio Sado. It doesn't look as if it has opened for a very long time.

Finally one from Nyons, France, built 1407.

They laughed when I said I was going to be a stand-up comedian. They're not laughing now.

That brings back memories. I was working in a factory about 10 minutes walk from the east (left in the photo) end of the bridge and stayed in a hotel at the west end of the bridge. On the first night we got a taxi which went all the way to the centre of Bilbao and back out again which took the better part of an hour!

Pedantry alert: the view is looking North towards the sea end of the Nervión, which makes the left bank in the picture the W side (Portugalete) and the right E (Las Arenas/Getxo). We had some hours to kill before the ferry, having spent the night hiding from the rain in a hotel in Baracaldo also on the W bank, as is the ferry port, so we went to see the bridge but didn't cross it. We passed both ways over the top level walkway on our last visit.  It's a magnificent piece of 19C engineering, lightweight and almost spindly, yet elegant and majestic at the same time.
They laughed when I said I was going to be a stand-up comedian. They're not laughing now.

One from my Yorkshire trip, 3 bridges for the price of 1 at Glaisdale

The road bridge I'm standing on, the packhorse bridge and the nymr viaduct.

Ooh, kudos for scoring triple points, or should that be ponts. Perhaps we should have a prize for the 'most bridges in one shot' picture - shots from plane windows not allowed as that'd be cheating a bit.

Well, we all have a rebellious streak to some degree, don't we?  Some ride the burning train of fury into the heart of Armageddon;  others of us have an inclination to post photos of canal bridges out of numerical order...

Look, I just happened to be by the canal, ok?  Yes, again.  But I could give it up any time I wanted.

Say what you like about Teesside, it does good bridges.

Foot tunnel under the A66:

Tees Barrage:

Newport vertical lift bridge (note obligatory shopping trolley in the first pic), currently undergoing renovation:

I approve of the new colour scheme. Red bridges go faster :P

Lovely stuff, everyone.  Spot-on with your punctuation, Dean (I had to check it because I couldn't see any restoration of the shopping trolley, at all).  And I'll continue to say what I like about Teesside.  It shouldn't take long.
