Mid Essex 100 - Sat 20 May
« on: 01 May, 2017, 06:30:48 pm »
I'm running this ride on 20 May - 100km starting/ending in Witham, inspired by some of the ACME routes. All welcome. Expect the pace to be at the slower end of the Audax time limits.

I'm just waiting for the tide table to become available to decide whether to run the route clockwise or anticlockwise :)

Its early and late tides that day.  The times and heights of high tide for the Blackwater Sailing club are

May  20 Sa 07:50 2.46 20:24 2.43

Mersea is only 20 minutes different.

Ah cheers, that's helpful. So any time during the afternoon will be fine for getting on and off the island.

Route is now finalised for this one - doing the whole thing anticlockwise, so the coast first then the inland bit in the afternoon.
