Just got the invite for this. They're an interesting lot, using small hovercraft to get medical aid to otherwise unreachable communities. We've been supporters for a few years now.
The fund-raiser ride around the Isle of Wight - getting there, how else?, by hovercraft from Southsea, Portsmouth on the morning of Sat 6th June, collecting waiting hire bikes in Ryde. You can use your own bike if you get it to Ryde beforehand. The hovercraft doesn't take bikes but a quick look at timetables for the FastCat from Portsmouth Harbour shows that it is feasible to get across with a bike early enough to come back via the hovercraft to connect with the charity riders.
