There's a large number of things that could affect it, and it could even just have changed between the "download" and "upload" phases of the test. Or the outbound direction maybe more occupied with something else

It was better asymmetric the Download was 10 times higher and the upload 2 x higher. Presumably you are sat on the end of a 1Gb bearer.

You mean SDSL not ADSL both are DSL

Our slow speed is only half the problem - the connection keeps dropping out too.

Why, that's seiously unimpressive! I'm just back from an evening at my parents in Hendon. I got up to 10Mps there whereas I get about 2 here in Burnt Oak. We're both on BT.

TalkTalks version. For some reason the router speed is supposed to be quicker; anyone know why? Tested this with a wired connection. This speed seem to stream HD TV well with no buffering so prolly won't try anything else for the mo...
