I may or may not be awheel, i might be a ped for the evening!

I will bring a bike, simply because I can't be arsed to walk that far.

Same for me  :)

Nice to see the Witham venue is drawing out those who have not been seen for a while. We can't make a habit of this though, as it makes others lazy. We would end up as a ramblers group!

I shall be chucking a leg over Penelope.  I'm in Newbury tomorrow but should be back in time.  I am planning on having me tea at 'spoons.  I couldn't give a rat's bottom about the Arrow but happy to sit, listen and catch up with folks we haven't seen in a while.

What time ?  I might join you for a candlelit dinner for two.

I was going to ride into work and then home post-pubinar but I am not sure I can be bothered in a gale.

I dunno exactly. I think the pubinar starts at 8pm so maybe wander down for about 7pm?  Very much depends on when I get back to Witham.

You'll have a tailwind wont you?

Unlikely both ways but I won't argue as you're the man with time on his hands so you've probably researched it and produced a spreadsheet.

I'll be there just before 8pm, assuming the forecasted shift in wind direction does not occur early and ruin my slight tailwind.

I will need to leave at 10pm for the return journey.

The trains aren’t behaving, I’m stuck at Slough. I will be with you as soon as I can.

I won’t make it tonight. Public transport is useless.
