Ride 1000km across Poland for Polish hospices
Saturday 2 June to Sunday 10 June 2012

Our third annual ride across Poland will explore the far south of this beautiful and welcoming country. Our cyclists will travel through stunning scenery, with exciting climbs and descents, visiting remote and rarely explored national parks and scenic villages and finishing in the fantastic city of Krakow.

•   Fully supported and guided – no need for panniers or packs, or reading maps!
•   Visit Zakopane, the Czech and Slovak republics, the Tatry mountains, Bieszczady National Park and finish in beautiful Krakow.
•   Cycle with a small core team of Polish and British riders, joined by local volunteers and cyclists for individual stages, creating a great sense of community. Last year over 500 people joined the ride.
•   Visit the voluntary organizations that will receive equipment funded by the money you raise and see their work first hand.
•   Cycling 80 – 130km per day for nine days is a great challenge, but within reach for any amateur cyclist. We run a programme of UK based training rides before the trip so that participants can meet and train together.
•   No minimum sponsorship.
•   All accommodation, transfers and most meals included in £450 participation fee. The ride is run on an entirely not-for-profit basis by experienced volunteers. All funds raised go to support palliative care throughout Poland.

Sounds like a great tour!
Unfortunately my work means that any long holidays need to be taken after the 10th of any month, so not this year. Maybe if you organise it for the middle of June next year , I will be able to join you?
