He looks very nice, Greg! Jack Russells are the best. Hope he settles in well
I've always liked Jack Russells. Jon wanted some pure breed spaniel type thing - but I presuaded him otherwise.
He looks a fine little chap. Is he smooth haired? All of the Jack Russels I've ever known have had a rougher coat.
He's going to need a lot of exercise and possible some obedience classes. Good luck with him, he should make a fine companion. I like Jack Russels, they seem to be small, but very energetic and smart dogs.
He's described as 'brindle coated' but he seems fairly smooth - but he's also moulting like mad at the moment. There's dog hair everywhere!
He's due to have his knackers off in a couple of weeks, at which time he should calm down a bit - and then he'll be ready for some obedience training.
He had his first day on his own today - it was only 5½ hours but he coped OK. There were no messes waiting when I got home, although he went straight into the garden and marked everything in sight...
