You know it's not hard to make yourself a Down Low Glow for very little money?

You just need to buy yourself a cold cathode tube as used in games computer cases (less than a tenner) and a 12v battery.  I used a 10x AA case from Maplins, but a small SLA might well work better.  Making the whole setup waterproof is another story, that won't be nearly so easy.
