One Man and his Campervan.

Anyone catch this series? I thought it was quite good and has made me think I should be more adventurous with my cooking when camping.

I know in a campervan it's easy to have a selection of essentials to use when cooking, but what do people on here carry as part of essentials? I usually only carry a bit of olive oil and pepper.

I rather like it - Mr R hates it.

My cooking essentials include salt, pepper, chilli powder or similar cayenne packet, 'Italian mixed herbs', curry powder and vegetable stock cubes.  All used regularly over a 12 week tour - could probably live without all that for a weekend away :D

My mum lived in a motor home for a few years recently and she dislikes the show

His VW camper van has almost no facilities and is not suitable in her opinion for any kind of touring or cooking or sleeping in.  Also the bloke is a bit of a tit
