At least one storm ago:  Second topless BSOist of the year.  He was wearing some sort of Mad Max face mask and had a leather jacket tied around his waist.   ???

They say the wind can make you go mad, and we've had no end of it this past week or so....

-------------

It was still blowing a hooley today - but there was moments in sheltered bits that it felt, dare I say it, a bit spring like.

I kept my top on

Right enough, on Saturday we saw anti-frog-migration netting deployed along the roadside in the forest, a couple of weeks earlier than it used to be.
I've dusted off all those old bottles and set them up straight

Read a tweet this morning by some woman riding into town with her lights on. A man pointed at her lights and said 'you don't need those on now it's light in the mornings again'.

First Curlews of the season up on the moors - one of the most wonderful and evocative of all bird calls

Heard no ice cream vans today; perhaps they're back in hibernation.

Apple blossom looks to break bud soon.

Sunny day yesterday and the skylarks are singing for the first time this year.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

More Skylarks.  I used part of the coast road that I commuted on (until I retired).  Two signs of Spring that I looked out for each year - skylarks and morning commute in daylight, usually both happening early March.  With the added pleasure of cycling past my former workplace to play out on my bike.
Sunshine approaching from the South.

First time in 1,000 years.
