The zefal frame fit is aluminium so hard to see it breaking from a couple of bounces.

Zefal hPX is aluminium. They make/ made a plastic frame fit pump too.

I had a Zefal pump years ago, it was a bit crap. The lack of hose means you need to support the valve with one hand, while pumping with the other.

That's not the case with a Zefal HPX.
