I'm glad I went to see them when I did, then.

They were groovy then too.  Ralf actually went as far as tapping his foot!  ::-)

They won't translate his lame shit into Farsi
Somehow to let it go would be more classy…

It's a shame but hopefully they'll carry on.

Possibly my fave gig is their Sheffield City Hall gig on The Mix tour. One of the new members did a Pete Townsend windmill before pressing a button on the 'pocket calculator' & did the whole foot on the monitor posing  ;D

Also saw them at the UEA a year later.

Bingo! That's what I am, a saviour.
A sort of cocky version of Jesus.

saw them 3 nights in a row (Brighton Dome; Lyceum, Hamm Palais) in 1981 then at Brixton on the Mix tour (wasn't as good), but Maximum Minimum was a superb album; it showed there was life after Electric Cafe.

I suspect they will just become a retro tour outfit from now on; before eventually just being robots on stage.

A great cycling band....

I love this bit from the article:

"Every day, we would meet and have dinner. Ralf always talked about how he rode 200km that day. That would bore me to death," Bartos recalled.

Maybe Ralf's logged on to YACF now .... ;D
