One of my faourites is Luddite Engineering.
They make parts for old/obsolete machinery for which parts are no longer available

Chum of mine continually posts adverts on FB for a restaurant called Le Redslob.
I've dusted off all those old bottles and set them up straight

Possibly a spoof, as they seem to prefer "Volkswagen Group Italia".

Not bad per se, but weird, like naff? In Llanberis there is a German Siemens 'Healthineers' factory

"Siemens Healthineers Llanberis, a wholly owned, 36 acre site, was established in 1992. Siemens Healthineers Llanberis was formerly known as Euro DPC. Since then, Team Llanberis have been proud to achieve many notable accomplishments throughout the years"

1992: Purpose built facility opened at Llanberis & visit from PM John Major

2011: Site given ‘Investors in People’ Standard

2014: Quality Champion Team Award Winner

2016: Wellbeing Team initiated – supported by Bangor University

I reckon it's a weird health farm setup like the one Kellogg used to run.  Five mile jog up the pass before dawn, slide down a scree slope of slate on your naked arse, a freezing cold bath in a quarry, then a nice bowl of Coco Pops.
Hard work sometimes pays off in the end, but laziness ALWAYS pays off NOW.

And if you cycle up the fabulous very remote single track lane behind the "Healthineers' factory, you hear a low frequency hum that you can feel in your tyres - and maybe see a group of people/partners out the back, clad head to foot in white and with helmets and wellies, sucking on a fag or spliff break. It's Llanberis after all

The US military never abandoned their search for the Brown Note.  They just offshored the work.

Saw a van earlier with "Jay's Room-ovals" written on it, which left me contemplating what a room-oval might be.  Something you might sit in to watch the Superb Owl was my best guess.

Very childish, but damn, I nearly did myself a mischief having a gander at that site.  ;D

Heaven forfend they ever have a commercial tie-up with a certain vehicle hire company.  ;)

Seen on a notice board in a village: Icarus Falconry.
On a 12-wheeler (presumably name of company as it was in v. big letters): Discordia.
2x4: thick plank; 4x4: 2 of 'em.
