These questions are not about the understanding of science.  They're asking what people think is true in fact.

Not an immensely useful Survey IMO. Nearly all the "answers" would require  qualification/expansion to make sense.

For example, as simple, yes/no, responses, I could only list alcohol and heroin in the harm category - user or society.

Also, was I being asked for MY opinion or what I understand the "scientific" position to be?

  This 'puter thing is a 'vintage' 2001 PB iconnect with an 8gb hard drive and works on most sites/fora I'm likely to use (now that I've managed to get Adobe Flash 9 downloaded and running). I did try to upgrade when Micros##t kicked ME into oblivion, but nothing seemed to be 'suitable' . OE runs the email and newsgroups bit reasonably well. Anyway, this setup includes a 'proper' printer and a scanner - unlike the ones it replaced


(photobucket runs a bit slower now that a couple of 'upgrades' have been implemented)

I got this work back today and while we don't get any actual marks apart from to say I've passed at Master's levels (so dunno if it's pass / merit / distinction), the comments I received were very positive. So thanks to everyone who answered this survey.
