Grand Colombier and surrounding areas/passes

I am thinking of climbing Grand Colombier next week, however, before I plump for that destination are there any other notable climbs or passes in that same area to make a 3-4 day excursion interesting ? My other option is Bourg d'Oisans which I love because there so many options and well known climbs.

Which side? From Gran Bornand it's a sweet steady climb (last 500m is at 10%). You can get there via the Aravis from Flumet (D909) to St.Jean de Sixt then right. Going left takes you down the D909 to Thones which will take you to the Croix Fry. Going on this takes you back to the Aravis. This whole area is a climbing playground. You can get to Flumet from Megeve. There is Le Saisies. If you go down the Colombier there is a big drop on your right and when you get to the tree line the surface can change from wet to dry. Coming the other way, there is the Col du Romme (a TdF favourite) and the climb to Grand Bornand is steeper.
