Bank holiday in the Cotswolds
« on: 24 April, 2019, 07:56:44 am »
I had a great adventure on Bank Holiday Monday in the Cotswolds. Some great climbs, spectualar scenery and oh my phone died 15 miles from where I parked so that was fun getting back to!

Started the ride in the midst of the Cotswolds Classic Sportive although that soon disappeared and I was on my tod again.

You didn’t mention that you rode past the only Vegan football club in the world.
It is simpler than it looks.

And Jaded's gaff, the one with the huge pampas grass in the front garden and St George's flags from all the upstairs windows.
Hard work sometimes pays off in the end, but laziness ALWAYS pays off NOW.

You see it after the houses on the left at the beginning of the film, the green black union flag on the side of the main stand. Forest Green Rovers.

You also rode past the first windmill in Gloucestershire, but that’s a bit less of an achievement...

Good to note that you were riding in a direction away from Swindon, always a sensible thing to do.
