Cafe/Coffee House Uxbridge/Ruislip/Hillingdon
« on: 06 July, 2018, 12:39:29 pm »
I need to have short(ish) business meeting with someone in the north west London area - we are both driving so the location isn't too important, although I need to go to a site in Southall straight after.  Any suggestions for a café/coffee shop type place that would be suitable please - we'll both need to be able to park reasonably near-by.  If the worst comes to the worst I can always google for a large Sainsbury's or Tesco and use their café but I wondered if anyone had a better suggestion. I don't want anywhere too fancy, we won't be eating.

Thanks, but I think I'd rather go to Tesco!

I think the Winter Boat Trip (2013) used the Wonder Cafe in Hillingdon as a start control.  And finished at a local 'spoons.
Any fool can admire a mountain.  It takes real discernment to appreciate the fens.

The Wonder Cafe has a certain greasy spoon charm, and will generally be quiet enough, and a free car park, which for a venue on the uxbridge road is not to be sniffed at.

No A/C though.:)
