Well done Danial . I'm useless at public speaking, even when the subject matter is not potentially contentious.

You can cool off in the bar later  :D.

There's no vibrations, but wait.

Enjoy the AGM :)

Can't be there but I'd like to know what's happening with the possible rerun of the LEL jerseys...

Had a substantial meal in great company.
YACF won the cup for the club with most points so POINTS MEAN PRIZES!

[Edit] Twas cup for LEL club points.

Prizes were also won by teethgrinder, RichForrest and other yacfers.
I had volunteered to pick up Judith Swallow's silverware and received a kiss from Duffers for my trouble.
Manotea took photos.

The foodie fusspot in me did not appreciate the packet soup starter and the pseudoBisto gravy...

Home and dry-ish! Unlike those poor souls who are cycling home, hope they all get home ok as weather was awful coming back.

Good AGM, nice to catch up with lots of folks, lots of drinking and giggles at our table, Sonya led me astray!! ::-) then off to pub then back for more! ;D.
Think I must be a light-weight compared to the Scottish Lass, great night though, thanks for making it a great night to those of you that were there xx

On Londdon-bound ECML train now. I've been put in First Class as wheelchair space in Standard occupied by luggage.
Other yacfers + bikes are elsehere on this train.

I had a mostly dry ride to Willingham by Stow. Mike Thomson caught me on the Selby bike path, and he towed me the 50km or so to his control at Crowle (where the rain started again). The elastic was threatening to break by the time we got there (due to me being overburdened with silverwear, no doubt), so I let him go. By the time I got to Epworth the sun was out, and just as Jim Hopper and Ed Hargreaves caught me,  they swerved into a garden centre cafe so I joined them for lunch. The sun was still out until we split at Beckingham, but on the lane to the Trent from Beckingham, there were hailstones on the verge, so it looks as if my timing was spot on.

Thanks.
Got soaked in 10 metres between pedestrian tunnel and cab.

Manotea, Mel Kirkland, RichForrest and others had to ride their bikes, poor things.
LEL reminiscence therapy, maybe...

Good to be home with my pint tea mug.

That's a bit pointed Helen, since Rich and Mano didn't finish LEL. !! ;) BTW the trpohy that yACF won was for the most LEL starters, well that's what Ian H said. I think finishers would have been more appropriate which translates to points as you said.
