I got to the start half an hour late. I checked in the car park and saw no cars with bike racks so assumed no -one else had started and, in view of the excess of snow here compared to Nottingham where I came from decided that discretion was the beter part of valour on this occaision so went and had a greasy-joe breakfast at Knutsford services before driving home. The breakfast was vile!
It now means that I'm quite unlikley to crack the 13000 mile barrier this year as not doing this ride leaves me 151 miles short.
