I’m betting that this means that I met Finrodfelagund.

I've now spotted ESL in real life ( well, he was pointed out to me by WoF ) marshaling on the QB circuit on the 24.
I introduced myself as much as you can whist riding a TT !

[More appropriately attired, apologies Pingu]

Met that Ruthie, Marcus, "fboab+folks" and other FNRttC riders, also "Chris (man with a van) S": all looking remarkable dry and sprightly at the 'spoons in Hull.

Possible spot.  Chap wearing what might have been an Audax Cymru jersey wheeling a bike past Carmarthen bus station  today.
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

Adrian, on his way out of Croydon, presumably into central That London for the FNRttC.  I was just short of arriving home, about to start my weekend recovery, from this week !

We exchanged somewhat late yells of recognition, but I wanted to get home, and I'm sure he equally needed to get into the centre, so he could leave it. :D
Actually, it is rocket science.

In my Yoof, back in '78, I used to go out with a Girl whose parents ran the "Eels Foot Inn" on Rollesby broad.

Kim, Barakta, and Cycleman at Mildenhall, just as I finished the 200 they appeared. Lovely to meet Kim (the source of so many snippets of useful info here) for the first time, shame I didn't have to time to stop and chat.

That means I saw you too. I was heavily disguised in a black YACF top and ACF cap. (Other clothes were also worn)

I noticed the top. I was also under a ACF cap but riding a green Pomp and in a PBP99 jersey.

Over the last two years, in the course of commuting in my milk float in to Uxbridge, I have on many occasions seen a cyclist whom I have identified as an audaxer and a potential yacf type, usually riding along the Oxford Road.  Today this cyclist was wearing a pink YACF jersey, confirming my suspicions. Greetings to you!  I miss my cycle commute.

Can't believe that two years have passed since you left FH!

Now you mention it, I realise it is 2 years since I started working in Uxbridge but actually rather less than that since I moved away, as I spent several months doing the miserable cross-town commute by train/tube.

Because smoke from forest fires Karla changed his northward route through British Columbia from the Cassiar Highway to the Alaska Highway, thus denying us to chance to spot each other deep in the BEAR-infested forests of Canuckistan.

Someone in an Audax Cymru jersey riding south through Blackheath at about 4.15 on Thursday.  Just caught sight of him as I came out of a shop.  Anyone here?
Why should anybody steal a watch when they can steal a bicycle?

Today I spotted Torslanda in his shop, with my niece's beautifully restored bike. I'll get clarion to take some photos tomorrow.  :D
