What made me wince was one of the kids getting a D in AS Creative Writing for a poem that the judges of the Foyle Award (this year a highly regarded poet and poet who is also professor of Creative Writing at major university) put in the top 100 in the country ... Makes you wonder what criterie the exam markers use for scoring.
