Lovely shots. Have you had a go at Mars recently? It's pleasing that it's still high in the evenings. I don't think I can remember a year when Mars has been visible for so long.

Thanks T42. Not tried Mars yet. It is on the list but time and weather are the limiting factors at the moment.

The biggest impediment is set up. Deploying a tripod and scope for visual is a relatively quick process but, the set up for imaging can be quite lengthy. Polar alignment can be one of those things that goes like clockwork or takes forever!

Yeah. I was working towards that but never got round to it before a bunch of new houses were built and the new street lights lit up the sky. Nowadays we have a physiotherapy centre next door and at nights it's floodlit to chase away the bogeymen.

Back garden observatory complex works well.
Big telescope on brick & concrete pier, shielded by roll-off roof and connected by cables to computers in 'warm room' shed.

Then the mice chew the cables and the climbing cats' claws compromise the roofing felt....

5 day old moon 10th feb 2019

The terminator is bisecting (from North to south) Mares Frigoris, Serenatis and Tranquillitatis.
Crater Theophilus is prominant about 1/3rd of the way up the terminator heading North, identifiable by the prominant mountain at its centre.
The prominant crater just North of mid point, with a bright Western rim and dark shadow within is Maskelyne. Move West from here to just within the terminator line and you reach the location where Neil Armstrong took his 'One small step for man....' (50 years ago this July 21st).
Slightly East and North of Maskelyne, a point of uplands/ mountains intrude into mare Tranquillitatis. This is the site of the Apollo 17 landing on 11th december 1972 in the Taurus-Littrow Valley.

My first attempt at multi pane mosaic images.
4 pane mosaic of the moon taken 18/02/2019. All images used were exposed identically.
This was more about alignment of the panes. Processing out join artifacts etc will come later
