Good news ..... I've seen a nice Honda Goldwing for sale in Stone :demon:
Looking for a bigger vehicle to tow the caravan?  ::-)

the goldwing does have a tow bar fitted so I could pull a trailer with camping gear within

Gonna have to keep the ovloV to tow the caravan but I might get rid of the Mondeo :-\

The panniers on a Goldwing are of a greater capacity than that of any of my bikes & a roof box could be fitted to the trailer via the ladder racks to which the bike carrier is secured.
Sorted ;D

Your Goldwing with trailer can also be fitted with a sidecar. Sorted, no more heavy haulage worries ever again!

I saw that setup each year for 3 or 4 in the family section of the BMF rally in Peterborough from ~1990-1994.

I thought I was witnessing a freak sighting of the Northern Lights out of my bedroom window.  Then I realised Mr Boutin had returned home and switched on a lava lamp and the wonderful blue and green streaks across the skyline were merely reflections of that :(

I start a new job tomorrow. I should be looking forward to it, but I can't say I am. The bad news is that my rather comfortable spell at home is coming to an end. I'd got rather used to having the house to myself in the daytime.

Bad news: my gear cable/lever/thingy under the BB went all wonky and wrong about 25 km home today (but was fixed) and finally went unrepairable about 5km from home  (i.e 97.5 km into the ride). I ended up riding the last bit on the smallest sprocket

Good news: there was a package on my doorstep when I got home containing a new gear lever and cable.

Good. No waiting list for chest x-ray - GP referral late y'day, I phone this a.m., appt tomorrow.

Bad. This reduces the time I thought I'd have in which to decide what to do if, as I'm pretty sure my GP thinks, the result is "keep your reading to short stories!".

Thank you - but after over 50 years of smoking I can hardly cry foul or unfair! And TBH I'm not particularly fussed either way.

Jogler.
Attach the caravan to the side of the Goldwing.
Marge can then travel in the biggest F off sidecar ever. :-)
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

Why have Top Gear not done this yet? ;D

Apart from them not knowing Marj, of course.

Oh ffs. Realised I was sub-optimal, decided to leave early and ride home (mostly) in daylight. At Whitechapel/Mile End Road junction, oncoming numpty just HAS to turn right in front of me. I brake. On diesel. Clothes and me (hand) damaged worse than this morning.

Not my day.

Please tell me the broken bone was due to punching the oncoming numpty.
