OU TMA submissions

A "friend" was given an extension for his TMA submission on a particular date. Does the extension extend right up to midnight on that date?

That's how the original date works, i.e. if they said it has to be in on 28th then it has to be in in the next hour :-)

I got my last TMA in at 22.30 the other week so I assume it goes up to midnight.

When you submit the electronic TMA you get an immediate confirmation of receipt.

This friend of yours wouldn't be studying T206 would he/she?

My friend says "thank Jaysus for that"  ;D  ;)

No, my procrastinating friend is doing a "contractual-obligation" work related qualification of, thus far, mind-dissolving boringness.

Just looked up T206, looks a lot more interesting than what I am my friend is doing.

Overall, though, seriously, I'm impressed by my first experience of the OU and in the future I hope to make use of it again

Warning!  I've just read my OU notes from the tutor and he instructed to get the eTMA submitted BEFORE the cut off date, though he accepted my first one on the day.

Your friend would be advised to check...
