old email folder - import mail?
« on: 27 July, 2011, 11:05:46 am »
I had a local folder (of old email) when using Outlook for the Mac (stored in "2001 Office identities"), how can I import this to my PC's Windows 7 Outlook and read as ‘local’ non-IMAP email?  It's 350Mb and Outlook complains saying it's too big.

I've no idea about Outlook on the Mac, but if all else fails, drag-and-drop via an IMAP server is a one-size-fits-all solution to most email migration issues.

Thanks.  Tried IMAP drop - the issue still seems to be that Outlook has an file attachment size limit that is being exceeded.  Need some way to tell Outlook to ignore the big files, OR, to increase the limit somehow.

Though 'attachment size too large'  could mean the pst file itself or some non-specific exception I guess...
