I have just received the Ashbourne heights 2020 brochure and note that there is a licenced tea room and bar, also lodge's luxury caravan s and glamping pod av
available for th. Who do not. Wish to camp. There is a heated swimming pool on site as well if you want to warm up after a nice Potter in the rains  :demon: :)

The latter is a bank holiday weekend.  Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing...

(Glad my calendar-wrangling was useful.)

ETA: I should say that I'm up for it, as long as there isn't an (as yet unannounced) BHPC clash.  I've been meddling with the race timing system[1] over Christmas, and it would be rude not to be there to babysit it for the first couple of events.

Happy with April 17th to 19th or May 1st to 3rd. Possibly also happy with May 22nd to 24th but this probably coincides with son's GCSEs.

^^Really useful post.

Would require the campsite to want us back, so would have to tone down the debauchery...

You'd better be on your best behaviour then.... ;)

All 3 weekends clear for me , though the last one would clash with a FNRTTC to Brighton, which may put some people off.

Are you sure?  https://www.fnrttc.org.uk/2020-rides says the Brighton ride's on the 7th.

You are, as usual, correct.  It was your reference to the Bank Holiday that threw me.

Jan and I will be away for 3 weeks leading up to 1st May. I'm quite interested in that FNRttC - haven't been on one for ages. if the Ashbourne weekend falls on an occasion when I can make it I will do my best.

The BHPC calendar's been finalised, and there aren't any clashes on the above dates.

17 to the 19 April and the 22nd 24 may seem to be the most popular at the moment   :)

Diaried.   Am I the only one who's childishly amused that this shows as "Possible Camping Wee" when you look at all the different boards ?  :-D

Should we change the heading now to avoid confusion?

Needs cycleman or an admin to do it to the OP.  (I had a go upthread, but these changes don't propagate.)
