Wot no WOW !

Wow' spotted in group of 4 around the 80km mark going against the route.

After falling off and breaking my hand on last year's Run (which got an anonymous mention in the injuries column of the latest Arrivee, fame at last!) I managed to get round in one piece in a, for me very good, avg. speed of 25.2km/h.  The organiser said he'd had news of a couple of people coming off today, most likely wheel touches in groups as the roads were fine.

I'm not sure I'm in shape for the Invicta Grimpeur next week though.

Got home 5 minutes ago. Resisted the temptation of the train, and tube, and train. Good to meet you, dasmoth and had a nice chat with jwo before the start and drossall at various points (before he flew off the front!).

During our WARTY recce ride today we crossed paths with some of the Braziers Runners. JWO first, just after High Easter, then TOKaMaK, who was doing his own thing and wasn't part of either rides and finally Toontra turned up and had the cheek to ask what time the PO opens on Tuesday! (it's closed Tuseday for the ones that didn't get it    ) Many more cyclist, going the other way, passed but I don't think anymore Yacfers until Chris and Yellow DooDah.
We, the Wows, Peli and myself, enjoyed our day riding we hope you enjoyed yours.
