Marvellous news, dear Crinkles.  If I had your postal address, i would have sent something.

Yes, I know I've been to your house, but that doesn't mean I know the address! ;D

I dunno. Add "Jolly cake baking lady with adorable children" and I bet it would get there....

On the good news front, Max seems to like his Toddlebike, and had worked out how to get on it, and toddle it, within an hour or so. I'm hoping to get some good action photos by Friday.

Phew!  I was beginning to worry.

How have you managed to get through the Great North Yorkshire Coffee Drought of 2011?

Clarion, with great difficulty, i am surprised you didn't hear the cries of anguish :)

Interzen, I think York is a little far to go for my first cup of coffee, whilst still in my PJs.  Plus, just add to the need for mind bleach, I really don't think you would appreciate me stood on your doorstep at 7AM in my PJs!!!

We just picked up a tandem.

 ;D

My shed now contains:
2 x tandems
2 x ladies fixed bikes
2 x geared road bikes
2 x MTBs
1 x pretty retro bike
2 x bikes in disrepair
1 x small childs bike
1 x bike trailer
1 x fella's bike

I hope we have a mild winter, there's no room for any wood!

I know what you're wondering. It's a big shed.
And sheds are (generally) made of wood.
There you go, problem solved - the bikes can live indoors for the winter and you can burn the shed to keep warm :)

The BT man finally turned up yesterday (I've ranted about them not turning up previously) and he found out that the junction box and the cable to the socket were rotten. I now have a brand new socket and, for the first time in over a month, fully working telephone :)

Bonus is that my broadband speed has also trippled :D

They have now left Chicago, and are, I assume, some where over the Atlantic....

I see that you are lacking a recumbent. That's n+1 chosen then!

It's a Multifunktionslenker: http://www.roseversand.de/artikel/ergotec-multifunktionslenker-ahs-premium/aid:99351

And for the good news: My physio (I got one today :) ) told me I can cycle as much as I want with my ankle.
